The Orlando Pride are charging toward the top, while Bay FC continue to skid. Some team's attacks are booming (shoutout Portland), and others are… well, they’re not attacking much (reverse shoutout to Houston).

To take the pulse of the league, we’re zooming in on one thought for each team. Onwards, in order of the current standings.

Kansas City Current

Waiting for Bia Zaneratto’s return

The Current were the story of the league’s first month, in large part thanks to an absolutely dominant avalanche of attacking output. They scored 20 times across their first six games, picking up five wins in the process.

This week, though, things slowed down a tad. Kansas City were held to just one goal in a match for the second time all season on Sunday, and then were kept off the scoresheet for the first time on Wednesday. These respective results came against teams currently 13th and 11th in the table, respectively.
