The U.S. women’s national team finished their slate of games in 2023 with a pair of wins over China. Though the year still ends as a big disappointment after their failure at the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, things are looking up: with new manager Emma Hayes somewhere in the background, the U.S. scored five goals, handed out some first caps, and tested a new tactical strategy.
