From managerial hires to established stars to game-changing attackers, get to know the most impactful offseason moves from around the Championship.

There have been more than 150 signings so far this offseason in the USL Championship, and that number is sure to balloon as unannounced deals go public ahead of opening day in March. That’s an immense amount of traffic, and it’ll go a long way in deciding the outcome of the 2025 season.

With less than a month to go until opening day, which transactions have been the most impactful? I’m counting down the 10 best moves of the offseason so far.

Honorable Mentions

Before we start the formal countdown, there are a few stellar signings that deserve a nod. Taylor Calheira, who scored 14 league goals for NYCFC II last season, feels like a game-changer in Tulsa. No Tulsa player scored more than five goals in 2024, and Calheira – who also took nearly 50 touches per game in MLS Next Pro – can revolutionize their offense.
