This NWSL offseason has been filled with things that keep us on our toes.
We’ve seen so much player movement in the last few weeks – players have been traded to new teams, others have retired, and others still have been loaned to teams in different leagues. Perhaps the most notable thing about this offseason, though, is the influx of players from leagues around the world to the NWSL.
This season, the NWSL will be home to players who most recently played in the top-flight leagues in Australia, Brazil, England, Spain, and Sweden, just to name a handful. Some of these signings have the potential to shake up the whole league, and others are perhaps more confusing, considering player profiles and team needs.
