New York City FC announced Pascal Jansen as their new head coach on Monday.
Jansen, 51, came up through the coaching ranks in the Netherlands, working at PSV Eindhoven and AZ Alkmaar before becoming the first team manager at AZ in 2020. The Dutchman, who replaced Arne Slot at AZ, served as the club’s manager until he was fired in January, 2024, prompting him to take over Hungarian club Ferencvaros.
