On Thursday, the USL announced the 2025 schedules for the second-division USL Championship and the third-division USL League One, along with more details on the new-look Jagermeister Cup that will be played between the two leagues.
USL Championship
The Championship’s season will kick off on March 8th and conclude on October 25th.
The league’s 24 teams will again be split into Eastern and Western Conferences, with 12 teams in each conference. Newcomer Lexington SC will take Memphis 901 FC’s place in the Western Conference in 2025, after Memphis’ franchise rights were transferred to future expansion club Santa Barbara Sky FC. There are no other changes to the Championship’s conference alignments.
