There’s another game on the horizon for the United States men’s national team. With the program still very much in flux – without a manager and without a Sporting Director – the U.S. will face Mexico on April 19 in Glendale, Arizona with a roster made up of mostly domestic-based players. Much like the January camp friendlies earlier this year, this match will take place outside of an official FIFA international window so clubs were not obligated to release players.
Here’s why this match is being played, who’s involved, and what to watch for.
